ok, so this may sound kind of trivial but i need advice.
we are nearing the time to potty train our oldest son and my husband and i can't agree to a name to call his private area. any ideas? i just keep thinking it has to be something that i wouldn't be embarrased if he said it in public like the grocery store or in preschool in the coming years.

How about "Little *****" ***= something, like Little Rhett?
Call me strange, but I've never given nicknames for any of Chloe's parts. She'll probably be the only one in preschool later asking the teacher to please help her wipe fecal matter from her anal sphincter. ;) How about just plain Peter.
if you or your husband speak a second langugage, you could call the part it's name in that language. that's what we do. we call it "gochu" which is the part's name in korean and my son (who we too are potty training) knows exactly what it is. :)
How about "pee pee"... that's what we call our son's and daughter's area... so that when it comes to TT, they'll know exactly what that part does.... pee pee.
